The product of evolution, Uniform Scotland is the the next chapter for Scottish manufacturing business of over 27 years (and counting!), Garment Solutions Limited. GSL was incorporated in 1999 by Carol Gallacher and her husband, Alan, to serve contract companies, where Carol – a 2nd generation seamstress was able to bring a wealth of experience to the industry, having worked in factories ran by her mother, Jessie Brown - since 1966, and for major brands such as Levi’s.
As the world of uniform delivery changed, the family connection to the craft remained immutable. Carol’s son, Callum Gallacher took on the role of Business Development Manager at GSL in 2025 and, with a background in marketing, quickly identified the need to be online and fulfilling workwear requirements for the many businesses not serviced by contract companies; independent and local traders and Uniform Scotland was born.
Established in 2026, with a proud heritage of over 100 years, spanning three generations and ready for the next century in workwear manufacture and supply, and beyond.
